GreenlandX is the most real mesh for Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX), for Greenland.
GreenlandX is based on high resolution 3D data from ASTER Global Digital Elevation Model (GDEM).
The data was release from NASA june 29 2009.
Aster data is very raw and should be approached or evaluated as such. Because of this very raw data, some areas are not correctly elevated by default. The GreenlandX project is taken all the areas, and check the elevations. Where the elevations are wrong, we correct these areas. Beside this we are remaking the coastlines, lakes and streams.

Extreme Greenland serie is no longer developed, as GreenlandX will make it obsolete.
Extreme Greenland mesh (100 meter resolutions) are NOT compatible with GreenlandX mesh and sceneries.
You can still have Extreme Greenland scenery installed, but we can not guarantee the full function for the GreenlandX sceneries, if you have both versions.
