Alouette III LN-OQB

Greenlandair operated SA316B.LN-OQB was chartered from Norvegian HeliLift as a subsitute for OY-HAK, another Alouette III operated by Greenlandair. OY-HAK crashed 17.2.1973. LN-OQB was written off in 1974. LN-OQB had a faulty fuelpump and could not start engine. It was to be slinged by a S61 back to the town of Tasiilaq. Unfortunately it was dropped from 1000ft a few minutes into the flight . The wreckage was only 50 cm high...
