Just finished my first attempt to make a mission for FSX.

You're the pilot of a Air Greenland helicopter which is in Maniitsoq, Greenland. You can't leave Maniitsoq because of the heavy snow and wind. But this day is not normal. Maniitsoq police received a SOS from some hikers north of Maniitsoq.

Lucky for the hikers you are in Maniitsoq Airport. The police have only these informations from the hikers, because of the poor radio communication:
Two hikers, one with a broken leg. Top of a mountain, approx. 820m. hight. North of Maniitsoq. And this mountain is near the north shore of the island. To the southwest they can see a very high mountain.

The mission begins on the ground at Maniitsoq Airport, Greenland (BGMQ). You'll head north across the Maniitsoq Island, and then north up to the next island to begin the search. When you find them, land as close as you can. Altitude is at your discretion, but you'll want to stay low to avoid the overcast layer. Heavy snow and some wind out of the southeast will add to the challenge.

This is what I used in the screen shots for Extreme Southwestgreenland.

Built in 1965 as aircraftnumber 61267. Delivered in 1965 to Groenlandsfly where it is still flying in 2007, some 42 years and more that 40.000 lighthours after delivery. It is the oldest aircraft in the Air Greenland fleet and the oldest S61N still in service in the world. It is kept in the original colors that it wore when it was delivered back in 1965.
