 Airbus A380 Air Greenland, OY-XXL has been released this great day.
Crewmaster (Lars Larsen) has again done a great repaint job ! Great thanks to his hard work.
Some information's from the read me text file:
Fictitious repaint of the A380. Air Greenland does not own nor do they operate an A380.
It is possible to land an A380 at Kangerlussuaq, but it is probably impossible to accommodate all the passengers arriving along with all the departing passengers in the present terminal building. OY-XXL 'Qaqulluk' meaning Northern Fulmar. OY-XXL is the biggest airplane in the fleet of Flightsim.gl
The A380 is the largest passenger jet in the world. Designed to have 15 to 20% lower operating cost per seat, 49% more floor space and 10 to 15% more range then the Boeing 747, the main competitor. Even though it’s size, the aircraft is designed to use existing airport facilities.
This Gmax model has been designed for FS9 (FS2004). It does work in FSX, however it does not have a VC. It comes with a default B747 panel.

Upernavik (BGUK) has been released to the public.
The whole island have been re-meshed. The airport have been reworked to have the right elevation. And the airport terminal have been inserted.
Now you can make more realistic flight's from this airport.
 
Maniitsoq (BGMQ) has been re-meshed. The airport area and the city area, has been re-meshed with 25 meters resolution.
The Airport have been moved a little to have more accurate position.
And the airport terminal have been added.
Sisimiut (BGSS) has been released in version 3.
This version have a larger area in 25 metes resolution.
The airport have now the airport terminal.
The area now includes Aqqutikitsoq Glacier in 25 meter resolution.

Today I made the "ÍSTAK scenery". This is not accurate scenery. Because I only used FSX standard objects.
Beside this ÍSTAK camp I added some hut's around Sisimiut area, including the turist attraction "UFO". For you who don't know about Sisimiut's "UFO": Yes it exist. You can find some info at Sisimiut Municipality's official link (http://www.sisimiut.gl/Tourism/Activities/Dogsledding/Trail-maps.aspx).
This ÍSTAK scenery, needs both "Extreme Greenland Mesh" AND "BGSS Sisimiut Package".
This scenery package is released today, and are didecated to my daughter "Marie", who died three years ago (10.20.2005)

Extreme Greenland serries has been updated with these downloads packages:
- Costline package North (more correct coastline and islands).
- Costline package West (more correct coastline and islands).
- BGSS - Sisimiut Package (better mesh around Sisimiut area,and roads).
- BGSF - Kangerlussuaq Package (better mesh around Kangerlussuaq area and roads).
- BGJN - Ilulissat Package (better mesh around the airport).
- Extreme Greenland Lakes package (includes over 32,000 lakes around the mesh).
- Extreme Greenland Stream package (includes over 63,000 rivers/streams around the mesh).
The Coastline package South is under construction. But won't be available for maybe a month. I won't make a better coastline for northwest greenland, above 74 degree north. For eastgreenland I haven't decided what to make. The coastline packages overwrites the standard FSX coastline including lakes and rivers/streams.
Lakes and river packages are from 74 degree north (both west and east) to all the way down to the south.

 Extreme Greenland Mesh Project is now released and can be found in the download section.
Extreme Greenland Mesh Project covers whole Greenland, and are in 45 "boxes"/areas.
Extreme Greenland is now only a MESH project. These mesh files don't have corrected coastline, corrected lakes or rivers (like the old "Extreme Westgreenland" and "Extreme Southwestgreenland"). It contains only more realistic mesh for whole Greenland.
Installation:
Unzip the downloaded zip to your scenery folder.
These are the next projects:
- Better and corrected coastline for whole Greenland - but not all the islands.
- Corrected airport areas with more corrected mesh etc.
- Lakes and rivers.
